Vince Cable announces £1 billion business bank
Speaking at the Liberal Democrat conference in Brighton yesterday, Business Secretary Vince Cable expanded on a proposed scheme to set up a UK business bank. Appearing at the event, Dr. Cable outlined details concerning the bank (announced earlier in September), promising a £1 billion investment from the government.
