Apply for a Double Access Account (Issue 3)

To open one of our accounts:

You won't be able to save and come back to your application, so you’ll need this information to hand:

• Your personal details (name, address and date of birth)
• The sort code and account number of your nominated UK bank or building society current account

We’ll check your identity and address details electronically, and also check that the details on your nominated bank or building society account match those you give us. If we’re unable to validate this information, we’ll need some additional documents from you. We’ll let you know what we need at the end of your application, so please print or save this information.

You need to be:

• Aged at least 18
• Resident in the UK and only tax resident in the UK
• Not a US citizen (a resident, green card holder or US person based on your worldwide income)

If you’re opening a joint account, you’ll both need to enter your own information and set up your online security details. If you want to open an account under power of attorney, you can’t do this online so please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

If you’re an existing customer, please log in to internet banking to open a new account.
