We’ll check your identity and address details electronically, and also check that the details on your nominated bank or building society account match those you give us. If we’re unable to validate this information, we’ll need some additional documents from you. We’ll let you know what we need at the end of your application, so please print or save this information.

If you’re opening a joint account, you’ll both need to enter your own information and set up your online security details. If you want to open an account under power of attorney, you can’t do this online so please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
If you’re an existing customer, please log in to internet banking to open a new account.
